L & S Horse Ranch

Are goals have not changed over the past two years.  We will have 12 individual paddocks for boarding.  We have 200 acres with amazing views of Lake Michigan and Little Traverse Bay.  We have two 60' round pen and will have our outdoor Training arena..  As soon as one paddock is complete it will be available for boarding.   As for our own horses we would like to end up with about 4-6 good riding horses.  Just a few things have happen in our lives to slow us down.  But we are happy to say we are back on track!!  We will have the barn finished and seal up for hay storage.  And for our anniversary this year my thoughtful husband is getting me a throw bailer so I can bail hay on my own.  "I know what all of you woman are thinking "How thoughtful right" I will not be applying for the Vet Tech program this summer but decided to wait a year so we can get the Ranch in running capacity.  We have a wonderful Trainer on board and will have all the horse broke to ride who are ready and the babies will be ready for training.

We are still planing to  dedicating a portion of it; to the care of neglected farm animals.  We are fortunate enough to have the property and the feed and now a days that is a large part of most peoples problems.  We have taken in a few horses in need but they're so many out there.
